The Verses Freestyle Battle Tournament is an annual event organized by the AMPON Collective.The Freestyle Battle has always been an interesting and exciting competitive aspect of the HipHop culture. (The Hollywood movie 8 Mile starred by rapper Eminem promoted the concept of the freestyle battle to the mainstream audience). Verses is an event that aims to provide an avenue for hungry talented and ill Filipino battle emcees/rappers of the underground circuit to prove their skills.
